Panel Contents

Hormones
Assesses testosterone, oestradiol, thyroid hormones (TSH, FT4, FT3), prolactin, FSH, LH, and others. This comprehensive profile tracks key hormones affecting energy, menstrual cycles, fertility potential, menopause assessment, and overall health as women age. Tracks free testosterone and utilises the free androgen index (FAI) for a more accurate measure of bioavailable testosterone, particularly relevant for certain health concerns in women.

Metabolism & Nutrition
Evaluates blood sugar (glucose, HbA1C), iron stores (iron, ferritin, TIBC, UIBC), vitamin D, active B12, and folate.  Ensure optimal levels of these nutrients to support energy levels, prevent deficiencies,  and protect against health risks women face throughout their lives.

Cardiovascular Health
Provides a detailed cholesterol profile (LDL, HDL, triglycerides, apolipoprotein B, non-HDL) and tracks HDL percentage.  These offer insights into heart disease risk, helping women take proactive steps to protect their cardiovascular health.

Inflammation
Monitors CRP (hsCRP) to detect systemic inflammation that can contribute to various chronic diseases, such as  heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.  Early detection allows women to implement changes to reduce inflammation and its long-term health consequences.

Immune Function
Assesses different white blood cell types (neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, basophils) and total white cell count, providing insights into immune health and a woman's ability to fight infection.

Liver & Kidney Health
Includes liver markers (ALT, AST, ALP, bilirubin, GGT),  kidney function tests (urea, creatinine, eGFR), and electrolytes (sodium, chloride, bicarbonate). These help ensure these vital organs are functioning optimally for detoxification, nutrient processing,  fluid balance, and electrolyte stability, which is essential for women's health.

Additional Markers
Includes haemoglobin, haematocrit, and red blood cell indices for detecting anaemia, as well as platelet count for assessing blood clotting function.

This well woman panel empowers you to make proactive decisions about your health. By understanding these results, you and your doctor can personalise recommendations for diet, lifestyle, and medical interventions to support your well-being, fertility goals, menopause transition, and long-term health.
